[ and then she yanks up her shirt to he can see the scar on her abdomen left behind from the chimera goring her. there's a bit more damage, but that stands out the most. he also get a flash of her lime green bra because what is modesty?????? ]
[ Well, he did invite this on himself by asking. And there's no better way to prove that you're healing than to show someone. He should be more used to this kind of thing with Kali, but he's getting there. And though he clears his throat a little, he smiles. ]
The visual really helps.
[ He's not even being sarcastic. ]
You gonna be staying around here for a while or heading back to the castle soon?
[ she preens happily, pleased that her explanation worked. success at being a person! weee! but when henry poses his question she tugs her shirt back down, smoothing it across her stomach. ]
I haven't decided. I don't think I'll be very useful at the castle though.
[ kali pounces over him as the kiddos ooh and ahh, straddling his hips to smile down at him before she reaches down her other hand to bodily haul him up with the same ease she dropped his ass. (str 20 total) ]
"I wish I could have met him," she admits, a little nervously and a little sheepish. She never had much of a father figure outside of Lydecker so the concept is still foreign to her, really, but the way Dylan's dad looked at him was something she wish she could have seen up close.
"I wish you could have, too," he tells her honestly. He likes to think that Kali and Lionel would have gotten along well. "And I'm sorry that's the best I can give you -- the whole ... " The whole Memory of Him thing.
"No, no, that was..." Trailing off, she shrugs. That wasn't a memory just tossed out willy nilly like everyone else's, that was one freely given and clearly held dear to Dylan's heart. "That was wonderful."
But it does bring her full circle to something she probably should have brought up before the impromptu proposal, but it seems more pressing now that Dylan was gifted with newfound youth and vitality. It was on the tip of her tongue at May Day. "Do you want kids?"
The nerves turn to uncertainty because, as she would have mentioned when they'd first started having sex, she's sterile. If he wants a family, Kali will not be the one able to give it to him and she wants to make sure they're on the same page with that now that he's young enough to actually sort of keep up with children underfoot. Maybe the Agents could facilitate an adoption, but biologically... it's impossible.
"Maybe it wasn't. Which agent gave it to you?" Because if it was Attar, yeah, it was probably a pointed jab at anger issues, but she doesn't think Demeter or Michael would do that.
"Uh ... Michael, maybe?" Honestly, he's not entirely sure. It was one of those things that had just showed up one morning without him having asked for it, and as nice as Michael was, he could still see her doing it. In her case, it would be less about getting under his skin and more teasing, though, he figured.
"He's an angel. Like from the Bible and stuff." Her smile softens, it's why she likes Michael, the reminder of Castiel that isn't as harsh as the actual presence of one that isn't her Castiel. "He could do a lot of stuff, but the Rift blocked some of it, just like it did with me. We bonded, I guess."
"Like Michael?" Erin asks, coming to the same conclusion and smiling. She likes Michael, too, really. "That's cool. And kinda crazy." As long as she's been here, angels and the like being a normal thing still pings as strange sometimes. Never mind that she has her own super powers.
"It's just called that 'cause the last guy that owned it was kind of evil. Now it's mine and Alec's and he lives there with friends of his. Sometimes I live there, too, but it's still half mine, so I think we can definitely redecorate a room." She nods firmly, it's science.
"Hey, I'm down for redecorating if you wanna go all Jackson Pollock on it. Everybody needs to get paint in their hair at least once." Since the odds are good that it'll just devolve into a giant paint fight.
Peter blinks at her. "Seriously? Because I'm not actually sure if you're being serious or not."
He knows there are people from different times and universes that might not have had the show - but he also knows she's messed with him before - including in this conversation.

Oh yes. [ she nods, ever cheerful, ponytail bouncing. ] I'm fine. See?

Oh it went fine. I was gored by a chimera and Henry was briefly paralyzed, but other than that we came out unscathed.
[ because kali... took 90% of the scathing personally to protect the others. can't be tamed. she seems to think this is fine though? like girl. ]

Hey, as long as there's no permanent damage, it went pretty damn well if you ask me.
